Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals – Our 17th Annual Blessing of the Animals is Sunday, September 29th. This is the day we bring our pets small (think Gerbils) and large (think mule) and everything in between. It all takes place during the 10:00 AM service. We will have songs, prayers, and a special message. At the end of the service each animal will be blessed. If your animal companion is shy, bring a photo. There will be a table with candles for animals no longer with us. We have lots of food for all two legged and four legged creatures, furry, finned or feathered, after worship in the Gathering Area. Please join us and invite family and friends. For folks with allergies, we will have a pet-free section. Of course, we will say “The Prayer for Furry Beings.”
