Courtney Hashimoto

Courtney (he/him) is a retired banker who resides in Gig Harbor with his wife Rosemary and their pet goldendoodle Beau. Courtney has been a member of the United Church of Christ for 30+ years. Since retiring in 2020 and moving from Seattle to Gig Harbor, Courtney has been active at Fox Island UCC (“FIUCC”). He is currently the chair of the FIUCC Interim Leadership Team and heads the worship planning committee. Courtney has led adult education classes in both Bible Study and hymn study. Courtney has preached from the pulpits of both Plymouth Congregational and FIUCC. He also sings in the choir, assists Rosemary with chime choir, and plays the violin. Courtney believes strongly in the relevance and  importance of the progressive church in our society.
