Micah Buff (they, them) is a student in Chicago Theological Seminary’s online Master of Divinity program. They also are the Spiritual Life Director for L’Arche Tahoma Hope, a community of adults with and without disabilities in Tacoma. Micah is a Member in Discernment with the United Church of Christ, accountable in this process to their home church (The United Churches of Olympia). They hope to complete their seminary degree and begin the process of ordination at the end of summer 2024. Micah is married to Christina. They have a young child, Remington. In their rare free time, Micah enjoys reading and writing poetry, playing music, hiking, and spending time on the water. Micah has been a guest preacher at Fox Island UCC several times and in Sep 2023 will begin an 8-month field placement (internship) at Fox Island as a requirement for their graduation.
